When does the programme start?
The next start date is April 2018. There are three programme start dates per year: January, April and September.
How long does the MBA programme take to complete?
Our MBA consists of 26 months of course work study, with a maximum duration of 5 years to complete the course.
How long does each course run for?
Each online course has a duration of 7 weeks, followed by a 1 week break.
How much will the Online MBA cost?
The tuition fees for the full programme are €35,500*. Fees can be paid at the beginning of the programme in full or in course instalments at €2,535* each. If paid in full the price of the last course is discounted from the total fee as well securing you against any price rises for five years.
Is there an Alumni discount for the Online MBA?
All Gold and Platinum paying Alumni of Vlerick Business School can claim a 10% discount on the online MBA.
Can I complete the MBA while in full-time employment?
As a 100% online MBA, the programme is specifically designed for people with work or other commitments.
Do I have to visit campus?
Our online MBA is 100% online, so there is no requirement to visit campus. The programme offers plenty of opportunities to interact, including synchronous sessions which offer virtual face time with peers and professors.
How is learning online different from learning on campus?
The online MBA offers the flexibility to learn around your busy lifestyle, from anywhere in the world. The programme is specifically optimised to achieve the same outcomes as the on campus MBA, meaning you will reap the same rewards.

Is the Online MBA eligible for the ‘KMO Portefeuille’ subsidy in Belgium?
If you work at a Flemish SME, you could use the ‘KMO-portefeuille’ to partially fund your Online MBA at Vlerick Business School. Dependent on the size of your company up to €15,000 of your participation fee can subsidised by the Government.

How are participants assessed?
You’ll be assessed in various ways, including assignments, reports, essays, group work, business role-play tasks, quizzes and presentations.
What are the admissions requirements?
In addition to passing an admissions test, to enrol you need to have a minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience, an academic degree from an accredited university and a proficiency in English. For more information, please visit the admissions page.
What support resources are available to me during the programme?
You’ll be provided with support to help you complete the programme successfully. An admissions team member will work with you throughout the admissions process and in scheduling your first course. Subsequently, a personal Participant Support Officer will answer any questions you may have as you pursue your education and ongoing course scheduling. The programme also includes 24/7 technical support.

What job prospects are there after qualifying?

What do I need to complete a distance learning programme?
You’ll need access to a computer with a reliable internet connection and Microsoft Office for your assignments. We also recommend a good supply of notepads and pens, as well as a comfortable place to study where you’re unlikely to be interrupted.
How is the online programme delivered?
The online courses are delivered through a combination of innovative, immersive tools, including synchronous sessions, role play, video, forum discussion group, simulations and other interactive techniques.
What are synchronous sessions?
Each course is supported by three immersive 2.5 hour synchronous sessions which, through live virtual classroom sessions, enable you to interact with both lecturers and peers. The sessions can involve teaching, discussion, feedback, group work or group participant presentations.
